Lahore: Punjab Housing, Urban Development (HUD) & Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department Secretary Nadeem Mahbub recently directed the officials to implement the MIS Dashboard reporting system, a news source reported. As per the publication, the step is being taken to introduce transparency through digital advancement as per the vision of Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar.
The department implemented the ‘WASH MIS Dashboard’ programme under which Sub Engineers, SDOs, XENs and Superintending Engineers are required to visit the assigned development projects, take their pictures, and upload them on the said dashboard. Instructions regarding the system have been circulated to facilitate the officials and engineers. Secretary HUD & PHED has arranged a monitoring cell to measure the performance of the field staff.
Through the new
system, the department has imposed stringent check and balance on the field
staff to ensure that they conduct their on-field duties diligently and provide
factual data.
