Lahore: The Punjab government has shared the details on businesses, institutions, industries, and individuals that are exempted from the Section 144 lockdown imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic, a news source reported.

As per the publication, the following groups of individuals and businesses are allowed to move and continue with their activities:
- Grocery stores, meat and milk shops, bakeries, fruit and vegetable shops, tandoor, flour factories, home-delivery enabled restaurants
- Health professionals, including those who make medicines and personal protection equipment (PPE)
- Taking a patient to the hospital accompanied by two persons
- Individuals buying food and medicines
- Individuals working with important welfare entities such as courier services, Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), etc.
- Financial institutions
- Production facilities related to Defence with necessary staff
- Dry port and related customer services
- Poultry and livestock feed mills and their supply chains
- Individuals associated with making seeds, fertilisers, and insecticides – and their supply chains
- Cattle markets, grain markets, fruit and vegetable markets
- Welfare institutions which provide free meals
- Media personnel named by their organisation and newspaper sellers
- Securities and Exchange Commission, Pakistan Stock Exchange, Central Depository, and associated institutions
- Factories associated with packing and packaging foods
- Institutions associated with producing goods used for health protection and their supply chains
- Oil and gas producing institutions
- Pakistan Refinery and the industries associated with it
- Ehsaas Kafalat and Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) offices
- Telecommunication companies; their offices and franchises
- Tetra Pack and similar packaging companies
- Judges; their staff and lawyers who are engaged in important cases
- Individuals exempted by local deputy commissioners (DCs)
- Petrol Pumps, LPG shops and filling plants
- Businesses that produce, supply and sell sacks and related items
- Tractor Industry/factories, tractors and other agricultural equipment workshops
