Lahore: The Punjab government is finalising arrangements to develop and promote rose farming practices in the province, according to news sources. As per details, the aim of this initiative is to facilitate the production of top-quality grafted rose bushes across the province, according to news sources.
The provincial sources (rich local soil and agronomic conditions) are especially suitable for nurturing of quality roses. The officials remarked that the roses being produced and exported to Middle Eastern countries at present are of low quality. They were of the view that this new plan would promote floriculture and create high quality grafted rose bushes to expand the export circle to European countries.
