Lahore: Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar launched the “Khidmat Aap Ki Dehleez Par” programme and Khidmat App on Monday, according to media reports.

Talking at the ceremony, CM said that the programme will enhance the service delivery mechanism. The main purpose of this programme is to facilitate people and their access to civic services.
Initially, the programme will continue for three weeks, in which the localities, bazaars, and streets will be cleaned. Under this project, solid waste from roads will be removed, wall chalking and banners will be cleared and broken street lights will be repaired.
In the second week, the focus will be on improving the water supply facilities and drainage. Also, open manholes will be covered and sewerage pipes will be cleaned. Besides this, parks, roundabouts, chowks, and greenbelts will be beautified while the governmental buildings will be repainted. He also added that the basic health units (BHU) and rural health centres (RHC) will be cleaned.
CM mentioned that all the activities will be monitored through the app. All the services will be provided at the doorsteps. Public feedback will be gathered to determine the performance.
