The EMFP is funded by the government’s Department of Agriculture and has been launched to provide technical and financial support to ‘key players’ in several horticulture value chains across the province – for improving quality, productivity, and increasing their exports.
The aforementioned project is offering up to a maximum of 7.5 million-each on matching grants at a 50-50 basis; with a view to promoting investments in fruits and vegetable processing, storage, logistics and other value-added businesses in the province.
