Lahore: The Government of Punjab has given green signal for construction Ring Road-II (RR-II) project to connect Lahore, Kasur and Sheikhupura, reported a news source. The project is estimated to cost PKR 40 billion.
RR-II will be 186 kilometres long and it will start from BRB Canal and head to Kasur via Lalyani Ring Road. On the other side, Sheikhupura will be connected with the Ring Road via Upper Chenab through Kala Shah Kaku.
The project will be completed under private-public partnership. More details are awaited on how soon the process of land acquisition will be completed and when the development work of RR-II will begin. Stay tuned to Zameen News for the updates.
