ADB agreed to consider giving technical assistance and conduct feasibility studies for the two dams in the second phase of this programme. The government itself would pay for the construction of the dams, but the water supply system would be installed with the bank’s assistance. Further talks will be held in Lahore to iron out the details of these projects.
