Lahore: The Punjab Government appointed Usman Moazzam as the new director general (DG) of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), a news source reported.

Moazzam, who is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Technical Education and Vocational Authority (TEVTA), will replace Amna Imran Khan as the new LDA chief.
Previously, Moazzam, a Grade-19 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, had served as the Khanewal district coordination officer.
Amna Imran, a Grade-20 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been directed to report to the Services & General Administrative Department (S&GAD).

It is pertinent to mention that the provincial government recently requested the court to allow the transfer of Amna Imran to another department—on May 21.
