Addressing a Pre-Budget Public Private Partnership Dialogue arranged by the Punjab Board of Investment & Trade (PBIT), the minister stated that the next budget would address the issuance of certification for the private sector. He added that the private sector would receive the opportunity to work; instead of establishment of authorities within the public sector.
Minister Bakht revealed that the single tax return form was ready, and that it would be launched after resolving the issues of the national tax form. He added that they had already cut down the tax and stamp duties for the construction sector, and would eradicate 50 more taxes within the budget of FY 2020-21.
