Gujrat: The Punjab government has planned to build a grand public park in Gujrat near the Chenab River at a cost of Rs 120 million.
According to a news source, the park will be named after Chief Minsiter Shahbaz Sharif and will span 95 acres. A no-objection certificate has been obtained from the Railways authority for the establishment of the park.
The news source stated further that the proposed park will feature jogging tracks, an artificial lake, an open swimming pool, gazebos, seating arrangements, and toilets.
