Rawalpindi: The Punjab Government has released Rs 25 million to dredge the Leh Nullah and renovate five tube wells in Rawalpindi, a news source has reported.
According to a Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) official, the Metro Bus project contractors had dumped waste on the nullah’s bank, which had eventually slid in. He also told the news agency that Rs 10 million of the funds released by the government would be spent on the refurbishment of five tube wells.
