Lahore: The Punjab government has released PKR 4.60 billion to complete over 20 development projects in the provincial capital, news sources reported on September 4. The funds have been approved to complete all the projects in the fiscal year (FY) 2022-23.

According to a Ministry of Finance statement, the government has released funds for all projects under construction during the previous five years. The funding has been made available for the following projects:
- PKR 1.16 billion has been approved for the construction of the Sagian Road project
- PKR 380.5 million has been released for the construction of the Sheranwala Flyover project
- PKR 340.1 million has been approved for the completion of the Lahore Bridge project
- PKR 335 million has been released for the construction of Shahadra Sports Complex
- PKR 300 million has been released for the construction of Canal Sports Complex

- PKR 275 million has been released to construct the Singh Pura Sports Complex
- PKR 230.28 million has been released for the construction of Township Sports Complex
- PKR 100 million has been released for the study and survey of various intersections and roads
- PKR 100 million has been approved for the completion of LDA’s E-construction portal
- PKR 50 million has been released for the completion of the Khaira distributory project
- PKR 50 million has been released for the construction of Sabzazar Sports Complex
- PKR 50.7 million has been released for the completion of the Ek-Moria Bridge widening project
- PKR 20.5 million has been approved for China Scheme Sports Complex
