The department announced that people can set their appointments for vehicle registration, vehicle transference and payment of token tax via the mobile application (available online for download) or by logging on to the department’s website: www.excise-punjab.gov.pk.
As per the official announcement, nine divisional headquarters will accommodate customers using the online booking system. The token taxes can also be paid through the ePay facility.

The taxation department took this step to comply with the government’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) on social distancing and prevention from the ongoing coronavirus infection. People will no longer have to wait in long queues and will receive confirmation via mobile messages on their allotted appointments under this new online appointment system.
However, the announcement strongly suggests that people wear face masks and gloves when venturing out of their homes and visiting the department’s offices. For more information and queries, people can contact 0800-08786.
