Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday (August 21) said that Punjab will participate in the forthcoming Dubai Expo with special participation from the south, central, and Pothohar areas, news sources reported. The province’s culture, trade, and tourism will be enhanced and promoted by the government in the international event with global representation. The Dubai Expo is scheduled to start in November 2021.

While presiding over the meeting in his office, the minister stated that the government will specifically encourage the participation of women, chambers of commerce and industry, and the private sector. The meeting was attended by the industries minister, the principal secretary to the CM, the secretaries of planning and development, finance, and industries, as well as other officials.

According to the minister, the major goal of participation in the Dubai Expo is to boost tourism and industry, as well as to exhibit Pakistan’s business-friendly environment and to display Pakistan’s soft image to the world.
