Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Sardar Buzdar on Wednesday (September 29) said that the government is developing and implementing business-friendly policies to encourage more investors in the province, news sources reported.

These remarks were made by CM at a meeting with Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Malki, where he also announced that the Punjab government has established a “Zero NOC policy” in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) across the province to streamline the business establishments. He also stated that a separate desk in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) is being planned to better assist the business community.

The envoy stated that Pakistan’s business-friendly policies and tourist industry will attract foreigners and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), which will boost the country’s economy. On this occasion, CM Buzdar and the Saudi Ambassador signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development of bilateral trade at the Dubai Expo. The Saudi Ambassador also invited CM Buzdar to visit Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), which was accepted by CM Buzdar.
