Lahore: Punjab Board of Investment & Trade (PBIT) Chairman Sardar Tanvir Ilyas met with Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar at his office and apprised him on the ongoing investment activity in the construction industry, according to a news source published on September 11.

The CM remarked that Punjab has emerged as the ‘best province for investment’ and investors are being facilitated with the provision of all facilities under one roof – via the one-window cell. He assured that no investment-related file will be delayed anymore and neither would the investors have to deal with any hurdles – under the newly-introduced package to boost investment activity in the construction industry.

Additionally, the one-window policy and the e-khidmat centres have been launched to conveniently resolve any construction-related issues like approval of maps and no objection certificate (NOCs). Investors have been saved from the hassle of visiting offices as timelines for the issuance of NOCs have been fixed.
Moreover, the chief minister opined that the operational quality has being improved through the e-governance culture and the ease-of-doing-business formulated for investors and the general public.
