Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi led a comprehensive evaluation of the Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop-3 (SL-3) project, which has achieved a substantial 60% completion milestone, as reported by a news source on December 27.

According to the details, the inspection occurred at Adda Plot Raiwind, where CM Naqvi personally assessed the ongoing progress. Covering an extensive 8 km stretch from Adda Plot Raiwind to Maraka Multan Road, the CM accurately examined the construction activities, specifically focusing on bridges.
Directives were promptly issued by CM Naqvi for the expeditious conclusion of the project during a meeting at the FWO camp office, which was also attended by Colonel Jamal and Colonel Ahmed, providing an in-depth briefing on the project’s advancement.
The SL-3 project, valued at over PKR 17 billion, spans 8 km and features three lanes. CM Naqvi mentioned that the project, initially scheduled for a two-year timeline, is on track for completion in the upcoming months.
Various aspects of the project were addressed during the meeting, emphasising the commitment to high standards in project execution. CM Naqvi highlighted the significance of the Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop-3 in enhancing public transportation facilities and expressed confidence in its timely completion.

Addressing the media post-visit, CM Naqvi underscored the importance of the SL-3, Gujranwala Expressway, and Band Road projects. He assured relentless efforts to ensure their completion with the utmost quality, overcoming challenges, and maintaining an efficient round-the-clock work schedule.
