Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister inaugurated Misi Morr to Khewra Road yesterday, according to a news report. The project has been completed with an estimated cost of PKR 1.19 billion.
The widening and expansion of the 52.78 kilometre long and 40 feet wide road connecting Misri Morr to Khewra Road via Pind Dadan Khan will ease up commute for Mandi Bahauddin, Chakwal, Khushab and Sargodha, serving as an easily accessible route. In addition to that, the road will also facilitate quick and efficient transportation of locally produced cement, coal, salt and other products.
The road will address traffic issues, improve travelling conditions and also contribute to bringing down the number of accidents that occurred here due to bad conditions of the road.
