Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the Gujranwala Expressway from Lahore to Sialkot and the Wahndu Interchange Forest Station today, as reported on July 7th.

According to the details, Maryam Nawaz also laid the foundation stone for a new 14-km road stretching from Gujranwala Alipur to Qadirabad. This project aims to further improve regional connectivity and support local development. In addition to the expressway, the Chief Minister launched an ambitious tree plantation drive at the Wahndu Forest Station. With forty thousand saplings already planted, this initiative underscores the government’s commitment to environmental sustainability and afforestation.
