Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz has approved the Lahore Development Project, as reported by a news source on June 2.

According to the details, the first phase of development work will be carried out in six zones of Lahore city over the next ten months, costing over 74 billion rupees. Additionally, Punjab CM recently inaugurated the Nawaz Sharif Information Technology (IT) City project in Lahore. This project, spanning 853 acres, will be tax-free for the next ten years. It includes the development of a Knowledge City and a Film City.

Various universities are expected to open campuses in Knowledge City, and the government will provide facilities to investors. Major IT companies have shown significant interest in the Nawaz Sharif IT City.
