Out of the specified funds, PKR 6 billion will be used for the procurement of 300 new hybrid buses that will ply on various feeder routes of the city.
On the occasion, the CM also ordered the development of 200 new city bus stops and dedicated sections for women, special needs, and handicapped people in the new buses. He instructed their seats to be near the entrance and exit doors, and that additional bus stops in Lahore should be compliant with the times of women’s educational institutions.
