Lahore: In the Punjab budget announced for the remaining eight months of the fiscal year 2018-19, the government has reserved PKR 29 billion development of roads and related infrastructures in several cities of the province, reported a news source. Out of the allocated funds, PKR 10 billion has been reserved for new schemes.
The projects that the provincial government plans to initiated during the current year include the construction of roads connecting farms with markets, a flyover in Gujranwala, a bridge on River Jhelum in Sargodha, Syed Fakharuddin Expressway in Multan, a carriageway connecting Gujrat with Salam Interchange, a dual road between Muzaffargarh and DG Khan, and a highway connecting Arifwala and Bahawalnagar.
