Lahore: The ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ initiative launched by Punjab’s Finance Secretary, Mujahid Sherdil, aims to provide essential government services directly to citizens’ doorsteps as reported by a news source on May 17.

According to the news details, facilitators will assist in completing forms, processing payments, and ensuring prompt document delivery. Interested individuals can register through the ‘Dastak Facilitator Mobile App’ and must meet specific criteria. Chairman of PITB, Faisal Yousaf, stressed rigorous training for facilitators, with only those scoring 70% or above being eligible.

Citizens can book services through the mobile app, web portal, or helpline, with services expected to start in Lahore within three to four weeks and later expand to all Punjab districts. Maryam Ki Dastak promises to transform public service delivery, making it accessible, efficient, and convenient for all citizens.
