Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited Haji Park Rajgarh to oversee the pilot project of the Lahore Development Model in Union Council 53, as reported on June 27.

According to details, Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider briefed CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif on the project’s progress. She highlighted installations of street lights, house numbering, and name plates in UC 53, alongside improvements to the underground sewage system with new manhole protections. The project, featuring concrete, cobblestone, tuff tiles, and colored floors, was inspected by CM Maryam herself. She emphasised the need for efficient drainage on newly constructed streets to prevent water accumulation after rain. Additionally, she approved plans to diversify tile colors across Lahore’s various neighborhoods.
