Lahore: The Punjab government approved 10 uplift schemes of different sectors including roads and industries, at the estimated cost of PKR 36.517 billion, according to a news story published on October 25.
The following are the details of the approved development projects:
Construction of a road from Mianwali-DI Khan Road at Chashma Lake to Allu Wali Piplan Kallourkot Road I/C 4 Nos Bridges (Old Sher Shah Soori Road) in District Mianwali, at the accumulated cost of PKR 1.419 billion
Rehabilitation & reconstruction of the metalled road from Sadiqabad to Waderay Di Chakki, Tehsil Sadiqabad in District RYK, at the accumulated cost of PKR 714.093 million
Rehabilitation, widening & improvement of the metalled road from Sanjarpur (old KLP Road) to Tillu Road (Walhar Morr) via Walhar & Bindoor, Tehsil Sadiqabad in District Rahim Yar Khan (RYK), at the total cost of PKR 872.391 million
Reconstruction, rehabilitation, widening & improvement of the metalled road from Tillu Bungalow to Chak No.264/P, Tehsil Sadiqabad in RYK District, at the total cost of PKR 801.438 million
Rehabilitation & improvement of the metalled road from Sinawan to Langer Sarai in District Muzaffargarh, at the accumulated cost of PKR 1.002 billion
Reconstruction, rehabilitation, widening, improvement & carpeting of the metalled road from Kot Sabzal (N-5) to Pull Chak No.211/P via Dhandi, Police Chowki 206/P, Adda Bandi, Gulab Chowk, Tehsil Sadiqabad, in District RYK, at the estimated cost of PKR 1.800 billion
Rehabilitation & reconstruction of the metalled road from Waderay Di Chakki to Tillu Bungalow, Tehsil Sadiqabad in District RYK at the cost of PKR 912.223 million
Improvement of workforce readiness in the Punjab Project, at the cost of PKR 23.983 billion
Setting up New Small Industrial Estate in Gujrat (revised), at a total cost of PKR 4.108 billion
Establishment of excellence hub(s) in the field of renewable energy (Govt Apprenticeship Training Centre, Township in Lahore and Govt College of Technology, Taxila in District Rawalpindi), at the cost of PKR 904.977 million
