The meeting also approved the capacity enhancement for the two existing cement plants. The meeting was presided over by Muhammad Basharat Raja, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, and several decisions were made involving land reforms, education development, and universities. The meeting agreed to amend the Land Act-2019 to allow for the exchange of state land in housing schemes. However, according to Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Babar Hayat Tarar, the amendment would only allow the exchange of up to two acres of state land. According to the SMBR, the housing projects would surely provide the government with alternative land.

Additionally, permission was given for signing an agreement among Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development, the Punjab School Education Department, and the British Council. The Cabinet Committee also approved the Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company’s Board of Directors nominations.
