Taxila: Punjab Revenue Minister Col (retired) Muhammad Anwar Khan, on Friday, said that 8,000 rural revenue centres would be operational by the end of December 2021, reported the news sources. The project is part of the government plan to provide people with land-related services at their doorstep.

The automated system will be linked to NADRA in order to provide a digital solution for land-related issues. It was highlighted that the revenue system was upgraded and being made transparent to facilitate people.

In addition, the data has been made available to 23 banks. So far, the revenue department has recovered 140,000 acres of land. Furthermore, the minister stated that development initiatives in the Rawalpindi area would begin shortly, which will include carpeting of road leading from Fatehjang to Pindigheb and a sports complex will be developed Pindigheb.
