Lahore: The International Development Association (World Bank Group) recently issued a credit to the Punjab government, according to an advert. The purpose is for the execution of The Punjab Tourism for Economic Growth Project (PTEGP) and to that effect, PTEGP is inviting sealed bids from eligible bidders to install “Solar Power Energy System” at different monument and heritage sites in Punjab, namely:
- Jahangir’s Tomb, Lahore
- Noor Jahan’s Tomb, Lahore
- Hiran Minar, Sheikhupura
- Rohtas Fort, Jhelum
- Taxila Museum, Taxila
- Harappa Museum, Harappa

Procedure and Terms
- Prospective bidders may bid for one or more lots and the evaluation of bids and award of contract will be done on a lot basis. Relevant documents can be downloaded from www.ptegp.punjab.gov.pk. Alternatively, printed documents can be obtained directly from the office or can be couriered on request, subject to a cost of PKR 3,000.
- Bids are to be delivered to the office of PMU Punjab Tourism for Economic Growth Project, 175-A, Upper Mall Scheme, between 9:00AM to 4:00PM. Each bid must be accompanied by a security of @2% of bid value for each lot issued by a scheduled bank.
- The bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) and the procurement will be done according to the established rules of World Bank Procurement Guidelines, January 2011.
- The bids will be opened in public, before the bidders and/or their designated representatives, on May 6, 2021 by 2:30PM. Last date for bid submission is May 6, 2021 by 2:00 PM and late bids will not be entertained.
