Faisalabad: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) on Saturday issued a statement wherein it dismissed the purported association with the Telecom Engineers Cooperative Housing Society (TECHS), Faisalabad – a news source reported.

In the said notification, PTCL clarified that it was a public limited company that provided communication services across the country. The management added that the company had no relation to the real estate sector or any housing colonies in the country.
The notification explained that PTCL does not provide guarantee for any housing schemes in the country, including TECHS Faisalabad. It added that PTCL was also not responsible for any business activities pertaining to these housing schemes. PTCL stated that individuals involved in business with these housing schemes would be responsible for any financial loss incurred.
PTCL made it clear that the company had no relation with any housing schemes in the country nor did it share any control over the administrative activities or land of any housing society. It reiterated that this included TEHCS Faisalabad.

The notification concluded that due to above-mentioned clarification, PTCL was not responsible (directly or indirectly) for financial loss suffered due to business activities with any housing societies in the country.
