Lahore: The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has released its Integrated Command, Control and Communication Centre (IC3) performance review for the month of July, as per a news source. The Authority’s Operations Monitoring Centre secured more than 32,597 observations that warranted FIRs in 56 cases, and helping in probing a large number of suspicious vehicles.
A total of 1,174 vehicles and motorbikes were checked for non-standard number plates. The project also consists of CCTV Surveillance Operations, with an Electronic Ticketing Centre (ETC) for traffic laws monitoring. According to the review, the Emergency Helpline was also widely used and the Dispatch Control Centre (DCC) helped in taking further action on the case.
The PSCA has launched this project in collaboration with the Lahore Development Authority and Traffic Engineering & Planning Agency.
