Lahore: The Provincial Revenue Authorities belonging to all four provinces recently voiced their resolve to collaborate more closely and come up with effective measures to rectify the many issues faced by the taxpayers in each region, according to news sources.
Representatives and officials from the revenue bodies of Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab were in attendance at the meeting, which was held at the headquarters for the Punjab Revenue Authority on Monday.

The authorities scrutinized issues regarding multiple compliance and inter-jurisdictional regulations that were causing grievances for the taxpayers. The meeting deliberated over the possible fixes to these problems, and the authorities unanimously decided that automation and close coordination between provincial bodies is the best way to overcome these issues.

Additionally, the revenue authorities also decided to hold a meeting with the Pakistan Revenue Automation (Pvt) Ltd (PRAL), in order to resolve any pending technical and policy matters.
