Lahore: The Punjab Government has committed to complete Bab-e-Pakistan within two years, a news source reported. The government made the commitment before a two-member bench of High Court.
As a result of government’s commitment and affirmation, the High Court dismissed the appeal on the matter. The petition had been submitted on the contention that the project had not been completed in 28 years. The petition also claimed that the national treasury had faced huge losses due to delay in construction and change in design.
