Peshawar: Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved development projects worth PKR 8,543.837 million on 8th March, according to a news report. This approval was given in a meeting of PDWP chaired by Shahzad Khan Bangash and Additional Chief Secretary. This meeting was attended by Zahir Shah Secretary P&D Department, PDWP members, and respective administrative secretaries.
27 different projects from different sectors were presented, including law & justice, industries, water, agriculture, multi-sectoral development, local government, higher education, and infrastructure for the uplift of the province. The forum approved 20 of these projects, whereas 7 have been deferred because of inadequate design.
