Karachi: The Sindh government has launched a province-wide disinfection spray campaign in a bid to control the spread of coronavirus, a news source reported.

As part of the initiative, all major roads, residential colonies, business districts, and all the streets, public places, mosques, imam bargahs and other religious places will be sprayed with disinfectants.
Sindh Secretary for Local Government is heading the campaign which will be carried out in 2,000 union councils of the 29 districts of province.

Sindh Minister for Local Government, Forests and Religious Affairs Syed Nasir Hussain Shah revealed these details while talking to media. He further stated that the government had to extend the period of lockdown for another 10 days because of the danger of further coronavirus outbreak. He hoped that this will help stem the spread of the virus.
