Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has invited proposals from interested engineering firms for prequalification to execute underground electrification work in LDA City, according to news sources.

To participate in the bidding process, the regulatory body has solicited bids from firms in the C-2 and above categories. Contractors are also asked to provide information regarding their company’s profile as well as the construction equipment they own.
It has been highlighted that underground electrification work will be executed simultaneously with the construction of LDA City Naya Pakistan Apartments in Mouza Haloki. Only the prequalified firms will be tasked with the installation of the electricity network.

Furthermore, the LDA’s Vice-Chairman, S.A Imran, has stated that the civic authority has approved the map of the LDA City-Iqbal Sector and that the balloting would take place next month. Aside from that, issues and concerns with the Chiniot Society have been resolved, and the remaining files of LDA Avenue 1 will be balloted in the next month.
