Islamabad: The federal ministry of climate change has invited request for proposals (RFP) for the hiring of ‘consultant(s)/consortium of consultant(s)’ for the development of a botanical garden in the Banigala area of Islamabad, according to an advert published in the national daily.

The said botanical garden will encompass 725 acres and the services of national/international consults are being requested for the ‘conceptual design, master planning and detailed design’ for the establishment of this project.
As per the details shared, the biddings wills be accepted in accordance with the ‘single stage-two envelope’ procedure. The interested firms are asked to submit technical and financial proposals in prescribed format in two separate sealed envelopes as per the scope of work prescribed in the terms of reference (TORs).

The RFP documents for the above assignment can be downloaded from the website of the Ministry of Climate Change, PPRA website of from the office of the Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Programme National Project Director. The last date of submission is October 28 and the proposals should reach the office of the national project director on or before October 29 by 12:30 pm. The ministry of climate change has assured that the proposals will be processed as per the PPRA’s rules.
