Lahore: The Excise Department has published a notification reminding taxpayers that the opportunity to avail 5% rebate on property tax expires in four days. The property taxpayers can avail the rebate by submitting the due taxes by 31st December, 2018. The taxes can be paid in any branch of National Bank or State Bank in your district.
PT-10 has been issued for the property tax 2018-19 and those who have not received their challan forms can contact their relevant excise and taxation department or sahulat centres established by the Excise Department.
The challan form can also be obtained from the Excise Department’s website or kiosks installed at the department’s offices through pins assigned to your property. You can call Excise Department at its free toll number 0800-08786 or visit their website for more information.
Meanwhile, the excise department is considering the extension of deadline for the filing of property taxes till March. A separate cell dedicated for the issuance of NOCs relating to property taxation has also been set up at the excise office.
