Lahore: The Punjab Government has given Excise & Taxation (E&T) department its approval for issuance of Property Tax challan, a news source reported. The challans will be issued in October.
According to the report, the provincial government held four meetings on the matter and rejected the suggestion of rebates on Property Tax. The government will issue a report on the increase of Property Tax. It is expected that the property tax will be increased by 10% to 20%.
The E&T department had awaited the government’s approval for the past three months.
