Sialkot: The sale and purchase of plots has been banned in 100 illegal housing schemes in all four tehsils of Sialkot, according to a news report. These include 45 housing societies in Sialkot tehsil, 26 in Daska, 22 Sambrial, and 7 in Pasrur.
Influential people had set up their housing societies and were selling plots at high prices there without providing facilities such as roads, parks, graveyards or mosques. Action is being taken against the owners of these housing schemes and a ban has been placed on sale/purchase of plots there.
