The real estate market was expected to show uppish trends during the second quarter of 2014. However, the ongoing political unrest seems to have decreased the investors’ confidence, owing to which a drop in property values has been witnessed not only in Islamabad, but also in Lahore to some extent.
Zameen.com CEO and Co-Founder Mr Zeeshan Ali Khan told The Express Tribune that Zameen.com’s traffic usually increases right after Ramazan, but it did not happen this year. He stated further that this year the market activity slowed down due to the political crisis.
