A rally was organised on the occasion of Defence Day by Karachi’s prominent real estate agencies Takaful Real Estate, Bahria Properties, Techno Real Estate, and Corporate Real Estate. The rally was organised for real estate organisations and well-known real estate agents of the city with the aim of bringing the guests up to speed with development work on the site of Bahria Town Karachi.
Representatives of Takaful Real Estate included Mr Irfan Memon, Mr Saqib Memon and Mr Ashraf Khanani, Techno Real Estate was represented by Mr Owais Memon and Mr Naveed Anjum, while Mr Saeed Memon represented Bahria Properties.
The rally caravan gathered at Tauheed Commercial Area, DHA Phase V, and the cars and coasters from there headed to the site of Bahria Town Karachi. The members of this rally were offered an exclusive tour of the site in order for them to get a first-hand look at the pace of development work at Bahria Town Karachi.
Zameen.com’s Karachi team, led by Regional Head (South) Mr Mashood Ur Rehman, participated in the event as well. By taking part in and covering such real estate activities, Zameen.com continues to play its role in helping out the community in promoting the existing and upcoming projects in Karachi.
Some of the well-known real estate agencies who also took part in this rally included New York Real Estate, Ali Saqlain Real Estate, Land Master Real Estate and Enem Real Estate. Towards the end of the tour, a lucky draw was also held, in which several guests won motorcycles and mobile phones.
Below are some pictures from the event:
Hi Samra,
Hope you’re well!
Indeed a cool event. Such Events should be held among every walk of life. BTW, have you got a chance to talk with concerned people regarding questions I have asked in a blog post about Sui gas phase 2? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
Amir
What a gathering of chamchas
All paid tout
Like joint parliment session
I always loke your valuable analysis regarding realestate in Pak. Kindly give some update on DIVINE GARDENS LAHORE> This scheme seems a sinking ship.
Regards
Dear Farsat Mir,
This locality needs to be analysed in depth. I am to soon research on this subject and find out what’s actually going on.
Thank you your kind words.
Thanks very much Madam Samra
Frasat
salam Miss Samra Zulfiqar,
Good Idea of rally nd promot the BTK , the work progress is speedly operated…. nice to see here on net..
thanks,
Ghulam Bashir Dehraj,
Hyderabad.
You see, Dehraj sahb, a lot of people had developed mistrust on Bahria Town Karachi and it was very important for Bahria Town management to make agents and real estate related professionals have a look at the ground work and pace of projects’ development. I am myself now convinced that we should pay less attention to these rumors that are constantly being spread about Bahria Town.
VERY APT AND CORRECT
ASA,
I have tried many times to emphasize the need of gated communitites in KArachi which are ‘senior-friendly,’ and cater to the needs of our aging population. These are not “Old age homes,” but house the families that have one or to senior members. I visited many such communities in the US, and was impressed with the efforts to provide a rich, full life for elders. These have a resident medical centre, health food market and cafetarias, libraries, computer classes, auditoriums, lectures, trips, shuttle bus service, maid service, subsidized meal service and numerous other facilities which I noted, and would be glad to write about, if the Bahria, Emaar and other construction ‘giants’ are willing to implement. Regards
Yes I have said “many times,” but no one has paid attention to this important suggestion!
Shall request Ms. Asiya Ansari to elaborate further on the subject of facilities for senior citizens, perhaps someday something similar may be made available. In Pakistan we have a long way to go, most of the people are absolutely clue less and totally ignorant that such facilities exit.
Wish you all the best in your efforts.
Dear Rais,
I am on the same page as you. Let’s hope she can share her thoughts with us in detail.
Samra AOA
Your analysis and views are of immense help and guidance. I have one question and need your very honest opinion.
I have already invested in Bahria town Phase 8, Block C and P in Islamabad, now my query is that should i swap it with a Kanal plot in Bahria Karachi? how feasible is the option if swap and leave it for say 3 years. Is it advisable? Whether yes or no what are the reasons behind it. Thank you
Regards
Ahmad
Dear Ahmed,
W/Salam.
During a recent discussion with known agents operating in Islamabad and Karachi, i came to know that these agents expect decent activity and price rise in property rates of Bahria projects in Islamabad and Karachi during 2015. If you want my personal take, i see greater gains for those who have invested in Bahria Karachi.
I am not familiar with swapping mechanism yet, 3 years down the lane, Bahria Karachi will be a very fruitful investment, Insha Allah.
The pace of development work in Bahria Karachi (with support form provincial government, of course) is very impressive and leaving this project in the middle is what can cause Bahria’s reputation great damage, which they don’t afford at the moment. About Bahria Islamabad, the development work might pace up in the coming year but would that be a match for Bahria Karachi? I doubt that.
If you need more information in this regard, please call Mr Imtiza Siddique at 0300-8282121. He represents an agency trusted by Zameen.com. You can give the website’s reference and he will guide you thoroughly about if swapping is possible and how you can go about it.
Have a good day and stay blessed Ahmed!
