Lahore: District Commissioner (DC) Lahore Saleha Saeed has approved development projects worth PKR 117 million, a news source reported. The 19 approved projects are related Water & Sanitation Agency (WASA), Traffic Engineering & Planning Agency (TEPA), and local government and community development.
The DC chaired a District Development Committee meeting in this connection on Thursday. During the meeting, the Assistant Director Development presented 17 projects of constructing Portland cement concrete (PCC) streets as proposed by TEPA and local government department, along with two sewerage schemes of WASA.
The DC has directed the relevant executing agencies to take pre and post pictures of each development project. Additionally, she has ordered all the Assistant Commissioners to pay random visits to the sites and conduct inspections. They are required to submit their findings to the ADC Finance and planning office.
