Quetta: A meeting was recently held to review the pace of work on projects launched under the Quetta Development Package, as per a news source. This meeting was presided over by Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani. He said that these projects would bring an economic boost to the city, and by extension, to the entire region.
Alyani stated that the goal of this package is to turn Quetta into an urban centre with open doors for local and foreign investors to set up businesses and make investments. He further added that these projects would also contribute to the beautification of the city.
The other participants of the meeting included provincial advisers Naeem Khan Bazai and Abdul Khaliq Hazara; MPA Abdul Qadir Nail; and the CM’s Special Assistant Arbab Farooq Kasi. Commissioner Quetta Usman Ali Khan, also the director of the Quetta Development Package, briefed the meeting about the project’s progress and the steps being taken to implement it.
