Lahore: The project plan to construct Lahore Ring Road’s Southern Loop (SL-IV) and Western Loop has been prepared, according to a news source. The 7-kilometre long SL-IV will connect the Multan Road with a road close to Babu Sabu, while the 16-kilometre long Western Loop will connect the Ravi Bridge with Lahore-Islamabad Motorway M-2.
According to initial estimates, land acquisition for these two loops will cost PKR 10 billion. The news report also revealed that the Council Committee’s meeting, which will be presided over by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, has also been called to approve the road alignment for SL-IV and Western loop, and the process of land acquisition.
