Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has banned all forms of residential construction, including private housing schemes, in the federal capital’s Sector H-13 located in Zone 1, a news source reported. Zone 1, under CDA rules, will be a green area and a buffer zone which is why the sale or purchase of all residential plots has been banned in the zone.
According to details, any violation of the rules will be considered a violation of the master plan and legal action will be taken against the culprits. No construction will be allowed in H-13 under the master plan, except for a few institutions which will acquire the land directly from CDA.
The public has been warned not to buy any land in the sector since CDA hasn’t sold the land to anyone as of yet. CDA has also informed various utility service providers not to provide any connections to curb illegal construction.
