Lahore: The Deputy Commissioner Anwarul Haq has instructed Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) and other relevant departments to prepare for rain, according to a news report.
Last week, 252-mm rains had resulted in casualties and caused issues in the city. According to the Met Office, heavy rain is expected at some places in Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and adjoining areas between July 13 and July 15.
The second spell of monsoon rain is likely to commence over Kashmir and upper Punjab on July 11 which will result in rains and thunderstorms all over Punjab.
