Lahore: To reduce traffic load on city’s entry and exit points, preparations for construction of a flyover and a 16.1 kilometre long link road between Shahkam Chowk and Sharqpur Road have started, according to a news source. The project was proposed back in 2014.
According to details, the Lahore Development Authority will be engaged for the project. The project has been named as New Link Road – Multan Road to Lahore-Multan Motorway. Construction of flyover and link road is estimated to cost PKR 10 billion and is expected to be completed under two phases in 10 months.
