Lahore: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) shared that the revenue collected in March 2023 is higher than revenue collected during the same period last year, a news source reported on April 14.

As per the details, the PRA disclosed they collected PKR 14.930 billion in March 2023, which is 15.3% higher in comparison to the revenue collected in March 2022. According to a PRA spokesperson, the authority has also collected the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund (PWWF) of PKR 555 million in March 2023, which shows a growth of 207% as compared to the funds collected last year.

The news source stated that during the first three quarters of the current fiscal year, the authority collected 74% of the set target of PKR 190 billion. This marked a revenue growth of 26.1%. While talking to the media, PRA Chairperson Dr Javed Iqbal Sheikh hoped they will achieve the budgetary target for the fiscal year.
