Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced the completion of Daral Khwar hydropower project which is to produce 36.6 MW of electricity, stated a news report. This power project will earn PKR 1.2 billion annually. As per an official statement, the project had already been connected to the national grid for power generation.
Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organisation Chief Executive Officer Engineer Syed Zainullah Shah said that project is earning the cheapest and cleanest energy in the area and revealed that soon after this, a number of power projects would start generating electricity during the current year, bringing in revenue worth billions of rupees.
