Islamabad: Federal Minister for Housing and Works Maulana Abdul Wasy handed over the possession letters for 800 developed plots in Bhara Kahu’s Green Enclave-I project under the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA), a news source shared on August 7.

During the ceremony, Federal Parliamentary Secretary Syed Mahmood Agha shared his insights. He elucidated that the project, launched in 2009, encountered delays due to legal matters related to land in the courts. However, it ultimately reached completion in 2023. Before the distribution of possession letters, Chief Engineer Nader Qayyum provided an overview of the territorial boundaries encompassing Green Enclave, Arbaa, and Khud Khal.
Furthermore, Project Director Azhar Hameed offered comprehensive insights into the project, detailing the swift progress of ongoing development activities within Green Enclave-I. These activities are on track for completion in the near future.

FGEHA Director General Tariq Rasheed reiterated the organization’s commitment to ensuring affordable housing options for federal government employees. He stressed that meeting the housing needs of government personnel remains a paramount objective for the authority.
